
GOOD TALK is a small non-for-profit organisation aimed at raising much needed funds for Bipolar Disorder whilst striving to normalise Mental Health and seeking help when you need it.
GOOD TALK is named in memory of our son/brother/mate Graeme "Reidy" Reid who died by suicide 9 years ago after years of struggling with Bipolar Disorder.
Bi-Polar Disorder affects one in seventy Australians. This condition casues extreme mood swings varying from chaotic exuberance of mania to severe depression.

Is to raise funds for Bi-Polar research. All monies raised will be donated to the Bi-Polar Disorders Unit at the School of Psychiatry of University of New South Whales research program "Bi-Polar Kids and Sibs" run by Professor Philip Mitchell, Director of the Bipolar Disorders Clinic

What does Good Talk mean?
Anyone that new Graeme would know he couldn't resist injecting his favourite phrase 'Good talk' into every converstaion with family and friends when the chat wasn't up to standard. The organisation honours Graeme's playful spirit while encouraging important conversations around mental health.

YIN (you-in) or YOUT (you-out) a common phrase Graeme used with his friends daily, which lead to the phrase 'Always Yin'. We utilise this now to emphasize that we are always in your corner and there will always be someone there for you when you are struggling
